The Infernal Furnace

The Hellhound rises to his feet disorientated, he is unarmed and wearing basic black armor he turns hearing the cries of agony and tumbling flames roar across the door behind him framed by the shattered gates of the underworld.

Hundreds of thousands of demons had escaped hell but yet it was still not empty, the many tortured, fearful and insane still haunt its depths. Though the Hellhound was a monster to be feared it was apparent that this was not enough alone, the only way he could find the power to strike fear into the hearts of all demonkind was to gain all the powers of the underworld.

The Hellhound sought to wield the fires of hell itself and the only one who holds this power is the infernal furnace master the promethean beast of legend.

From the gates of hell lies the long red banner of the Hellhounds former master, he tears one down and fashions a cape from it then continues through the gate into hell.


Devastation is littered all around, dead bodies of demons and sinners some trampled into the ground from the mass exodus from hell, great pillars of fire spill upwards from the lakes of fire as the Hellhound travels further into hell. The Hellhound stops suddenly as a demon rushes past him chased by a pack of demondogs who would surely tear him apart, though unarmed the hellhound decides to intervene and together him and the demon drive off the demonic dogs.

The Demon thanks the Hellhound yet sees that this was no free favor, The Hellhound asks him to be his guide in the underworld and take him to the Furnace master. The demon describes the furnace master as a large demon whose skin burns red whose very steps burn and shatter the ground beneath him, he thinks the Hellhound is crazy to want to visit him as the furnace master has a very hot temper and regularly kills nearby resisdents of hell to vent his frustrations most stay well clear of him.......
